The limit does not exist! Applicable travel fees apply to destination sessions - let’s chat!
For local sessions, travel within 90 minutes of Mechanic Falls, Maine is included in all session fees unless stated otherwise in the package description. Each additional hour of travel to location is $60. Travel fees may be waived for multiple sessions in one day at the photographer’s discretion.

Once you’ve submitted a deposit you’ll receive my comprehensive prep-guide with grooming and outfit tips, as well as ways to check in with your horse behaviorally ahead of our session. In summary, you’ll want to treat your horse as if you’re taking them to a show. Bathe if weather permits, clip anything you like to clip, and shine that bridle or halter up. We want you both to look your best and look forward to having a good time!

Absolutely!! I have years of professional equine experience with everything from backyard breeds to FEI Dressage horses. I understand that animals have a mind of their own and we’ll never do anything that makes you or your horse uncomfortable. That being said, there are a few things you can practice to encourage a smoother experience: standing still in unfamiliar areas around the farm, keeping your horse’s attention on/near yummy grass (without them dive-bombing for a mouthful), moving forward and backward one foot/step at a time, and carrot stretches for those pretty wrap-around shots. You’ll get these tips and more in my comprehensive prep-guide ahead of your session.

Hi, I’m Hannah.
With experience in both sides of the horse world working at a top dressage barn and competing as a hunter-jumper, to learning how to sort cows and skijor, I understand the style unique to each breed and discipline and can tailor our session to reflect your style.
I’m also a dog mom to two husky mixes and if 10 years of husky ownership has prepared me for anything, it’s capturing the personality of even the most uncooperative pups with the utmost patience.
When you work with me, you’re working with a dog-loving horse girl who puts the animal first and truly enjoys creating art that highlights the natural beauty of our 4-legged companions.
