From Inquiry to Artwork:
-
First things first: we’ll hop on a call to get to know each other and set expectations for your session, including scheduling a date/time and location. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, share your intentions for the images, and express any concerns you may have. A contract/deposit will be sent to secure your spot.
-
Your session day has arrived! I’ll arrive before your scheduled time and you may share any poses or reference photos you like. Every animal is different so we’ll go at their pace and stick to prompts and poses that keep you both comfortable.
-
After the session, I’ll share some sneak peeks to get you excited about your gallery, then depending on your session type, within 2-4 weeks* of your session, you’ll receive a link to either your final gallery or proofs to select from (or both). Your final images are yours to share online for personal use as much as your heart desires, but please don’t alter the final images. I spent a lot of time getting them perfect already and prefer you let me know directly if you feel like they need further adjustments.
-
After you’ve had some time to sit with your gallery, we’ll team up to create custom artwork for your home or office. (This is my favorite part!) I’ll help you select the best photos and walk you through display options such as custom albums, frames, canvases, and metal or acrylic prints. You may also order gifts for family members and loved ones.

Treat your horse as if you’re taking them to a show. Bathe if weather permits, clip anything you like to clip, and shine that bridle or halter up. We want your pet to look their best for their moment in the spotlight!

Absolutely!! I have years of professional equine experience with everything from backyard breeds to FEI Dressage horses. I understand that animals have a mind of their own and we’ll never do anything that makes you or your horse uncomfortable. That being said, there are a few things you can practice to encourage a smoother experience: standing still in unfamiliar areas around the farm, keeping your horse’s attention on/near yummy grass (without them dive-bombing for a mouthful), moving forward and backward one foot/step at a time, and carrot stretches for those pretty wrap-around shots.
